EVENTSNational Energy Consultation in Antigua and BarbudaThe OAS/CSEP team had a mission to gather with key energy sector stakeholders in Antigua and Barbuda, including representatives of the government policy-makers, the national energy utility. The objective of the mission was to launch the CSEP initiative and to decide the best course of action for setting the priorities and goals for the formulation of the National Energy Policy (NEP). It is envisioned that the NEP will make a significant impact on social, environmental and economic growth in the country through the promotion of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects for the sectors of electricity and transportation.
